The brand

Gran Formaggio is in the market since 1998 and is the first Grana cheese produced in Brazil. Its recipe was brought to the country by the brand's creator Raul Anselmo Randon, who united tradition and technology in using modern equipment and keeping the classic Italian culture of fabrication.

The striking granulation and refined flavor are attributes found in Gran Formaggio. To achieve such sophisticated characteristics, we seek excellence in each phase of the production process, from the treatment of the Holstein Friesian cows, who provide the highest quality milk, to the 12 months of aging, minimum amount of time for cheese to be enjoyed with mastery. Furthermore, the milk used is partially skimmed, resulting in a cheese with low indices of cholesterol and sodium.
